POSTPARTUM CARE

For nine months it has cradled and cared for a growing baby, and then in a matter of hours, the baby is delivered. Is it any wonder a woman’s body may have a hard time bouncing back?

The postpartum phase lasts from delivery to about eight weeks. Dr. Rakhshani will keep close tabs on you through regular postpartum checkups to make sure your body is bouncing back, and that you don’t develop any complications or infections.
